This information was on the back of the March 6th Newsletter, but here it is just in case you need the information again. Also I will post a link on the "LINKS" page for our READ N QUIZ page where our students can take tests from home. I will also post our "EPIC" account link where you can get ALL kinds of FREE books at home to read on a tablet, computer, or other device.
It's been too long since I posted so there is really so much I want to talk about! I added a page to the SITE called "Photo Gallery" Here you can find lots of fun pictures on our field trips and in-class adventures. I have more to add so check back!
I can't wait to see the wonderful dioramas the class has made for their Native American Tribe Project. All students were assigned a tribe- either Inuit, Kwakiutl, Pawnee, Seminole, Nez Perce, or Hopi. They have to create a diorama that would represent the housing, food, clothing, environment of that particular tribe. Here is picture I pulled up from Pintrest but I hope to be able to post pictures of dioramas from this class very soon. Here is a picture of an Inuit diorama.
We had a great time on our trip to the Cobb County Youth Museum on Thursday, November 10th. The kids got to play different parts in skits as we traveled through colonial times, the Revolutionary War, and onto the writing of the Constitution. Check out these great pictures!
We have a field trip coming up this week to the Cobb County Youth Museum. Students should bring their lunches if they said they would on the permission slip.
